Government data for England, Wales, and Scotland reveals a rise in hate crimes linked to sexual orientation and gender identity every year.
Since early 2020, sexual orientation hate crimes in England and Wales rose by 19%, while transgender identity hate crimes rose by 16%, averaging over 50 reports daily.
